- Sit-ins during labs and classes
- Hands-on animal experiences
- Meeting faculty, staff and students

- Pay for transportation on island to and from all sponsored events
- Provide meals for all scheduled events
- Arrange opportunities to have 1-1 discussions with current students and faculty

Visitors will have the option to leave Friday afternoon or stay the weekend on their own. We will have suggestions of things to do if you stay the weekend.
We’ve arranged a block of rooms at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino. The rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis, with the special rate ending February 20. So we recommend you book your room at the same time you book your flights.
There are numerous flights that connect through various cities in the U.S. and then on to St. Kitts (airport code SKB). American Airlines offers daily flights to and from St. Kitts of out Miami.

So long as you alert us to your flight’s arrival, we’ll pick you up at the airport and transport you. Transportation from the hotel to the airport will depend on when you are departing. Should you need a taxi between the airport and the Marriott the fare is $18 US plus minor fees for baggage and extra passengers. Many taxi’s only accept cash so we recommend you bring cash should you need it for taxis.
Is there a deadline to register?
Yes, you will need to register to attend the event by February 28, 2019.
Will I need a passport to visit St. Kitts?
Yes, you will need a passport in order to enter the country.
What is the currency in St. Kitts? Do they take US currency?
The currency in St. Kitts is the East Caribbean Dollar (ECU), but most restaurants, stores and taxis accept US currency. The current exchange rate is $1 US = $2.7 ECU.
What is the language in St. Kitts?
St. Kitts is an English-speaking country.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes! You can bring up to two guests with you. The guests will be allowed to accompany you during throughout the event, but they will not be able to participate in any hands-on activities while on campus, such as in the Skills Lab.
How will I get from the airport to the hotel?
